• Position Overview
• Maintenance Technician III trouble shoots electrical and mechanical systems within the plant. Maintenance Technician I will maintains production and facility equipment according to Company standards of safety and quality. Additionally, Maintenance Technician I supports an environment of continuous improvement by making and implementing suggestions.

• Areas of Focus
• Maintenance Technician III will follow the preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's recommendation and industry accepted best practices for all plant equipment. Maintenance Technician I will comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE as well as understand and follow the Quality policy and Lean initiatives.

• Responsibilities
• •Maintain equipment while performing basic mechanical and electrical repair work
• •Notice and report any abnormal conditions/failures
• •Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations and report to supervisors.
• •Perform machine shop functions (sheet metal, steel layout and welding)
• •Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• •Follow company policy, processes and action plans as it relates to all plant machinery
• •Must follow and understand production daily goals and requirements
• •Perform general housekeeping
• •Understand and follow Work Instructions
• •Detect and report defective materials
• •Dispose of contaminated work materials in appropriate containers
• •Follow and maintain good housekeeping and hygiene practices

• Basic Qualifications
• •High School Diploma or equivalent
• •6 months – 1-year experience in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/ Technician
• •Good writing and communication skills
• •Basic understanding of MS Office (Word / Excel)
• •Forklift Certified

Salary Range: $34.00-$36.00/hr
