Duties

• •The primary role is to insure that the administrative needs of the Director, FMWR are met, by performing, providing, obtaining, and/or advising on a variety of support services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the Directorate.
• •Serves as the primary liaison with the NAF HR department on matters relating to organization structure, the assignment of functional responsibilities, and personnel actions.
• •Actively participates in staff and/or management level meetings and discussions pertaining to the activities encompassed in the administrative and management functions of the DFMWR.
• •Oversees a variety of general administrative duties performed in support of the DFMWR involving performance management, records management, civilian pay issues, Congressionals, FOIA and monitoring EEO plans, policies and goals.
• •Keeps abreast of, and advises management and staff of changes affecting these functional personnel related areas: recruitment, position management and classification, employee/management relations, employee entitlement and awards, and training.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated knowledge of overall mission, functions, organization, objectives, procedures and their relationship to the administrative support activities of the DFMWR. Knowledge of pertinent laws, policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to Human Resource Management. Skill and ability to apply qualitative and/or qualitative analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations and substantive administrative support functions. Ability in organizing and delivering briefings to managers/supervisors to encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations. Comprehensive oral communication skills and analytical writing skills. Knowledge of a variety of data management systems. Highly preferred Qualifications: Minimum one (1) year experience working with DCPDS or equivalent personnel database/system Minimum one (1) year experience working with Blue Force (or comparable timekeeping system) Minimum one (1) year experience working with IMETS Ma (or comparable manning documents/TDA system) *** All experience must be listed on the resume for that experience to be considered.
