Duties

• •If selected at the GS-12 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity.
• •Assist senior analysts with providing substantive analysis of pertinent topics to support mission requirements for situational awareness and in-depth understanding of specific issues.
• •Coordinates with relevant stakeholders to consolidate findings and assists in the production of materials that will effectively communicate goals and objectives.
• •Regularly corresponds with stakeholders including senior leaders to ensure full understanding of strategic communications and expectations.
• •Interfaces with senior officials from inside/outside the agency to ensure alignment of Directorate goals and objectives

Qualifications

To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: GS-12:- Consolidates data and reviews for clarity to maximize potential of successful accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability. Provides technical advice and guidance for improvements and anticipates areas of concern. In coordination with senior analysts, plans, manages, and coordinates processes aligned with the Executive Directorate strategic initiatives GS-13: Responsible for special projects where multiple functional areas have shared responsibilities and the projects have agency-wide impact and require detailed study, compilation, and analysis of facts, development of plans, and extensive coordination with other staff activities prior to presenting plans for approval Develops, initiates, and implements policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility as directed by senior analysts and senior leadership. Determines process inefficiencies, develops comprehensive improvements, and implements innovative solutions to optimize organizational performance Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
