EXPECTED END RESULTS

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

1. Own the financial control of the Cost of Sales portfolio

• •Maintain a complete view of outbound logistics, End-of-Life battery, connectivity services, intercompany pricing for imported vehicles and other cross-entity cost of sales items.
• •Coordinate financial inputs across entities and functions to provide an integrated view of the Cost of Sales portfolio.
• •Ensure costs are classified, consolidated and reported consistently across the region.

2. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process

• •Coordinate budget, outlook and forecast submissions across contributing entities and functions.
• •Develop forecast models using relevant operational and financial drivers, including volumes, rates, contractual assumptions and foreign exchange impacts where applicable.
• •Review and constructively challenge key assumptions, ensuring alignment with regional and global planning guidance.
• •Identify, quantify and communicate risks, opportunities and forecast sensitivities.

3. Deliver accurate monthly closing and management reporting

• •Review actual results, accruals, provisions and reclassifications with accounting and functional teams.
• •Reconcile source data to financial systems and work with contributors to resolve material differences and data gaps.
• •Prepare monthly reporting with clear variance analysis versus Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.
• •Deliver accurate and timely reporting packages in line with regional closing deadlines.

4. Provide actionable cost performance insights

• •Analyse cost evolution and identify the operational, volume, rate, mix, foreign exchange and timing drivers behind material variances.
• •Develop cost-per-unit, trend and performance views appropriate to each cost stream.
• •Translate complex cross-entity movements into concise management messages and recommended actions.
• •Support scenario analysis, business cases and ad hoc management requests.

5. Improve data quality, reporting processes and automation

• •Establish robust review controls and audit trails for data received from multiple entities and systems.
• •Work with contributors to improve the quality, completeness and timeliness of financial inputs and resolve identified issues.
• •Standardise templates, definitions and reporting methodologies across the portfolio.
• •Drive simplification and automation using Excel, Power BI, Tagetik and other available finance tools.

6. Build effective cross-functional stakeholder alignment

• •Act as the key finance interface for the assigned cost streams across regional functions, entities and headquarters.
• •Facilitate alignment on responsibilities, assumptions and follow-up actions across contributing teams.
• •Facilitate performance reviews, communicate financial insights and coordinate agreed actions with relevant stakeholders.
