Job Description Summary:

The Manager, Global Strategic Marketing is responsible for supporting the development and execution of key marketing strategies and tactics across PTC’s current and future product portfolio as assigned.

This role partners closely with the Global Brand Lead and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into well-executed tactical plans that advance brand objectives and support global strategic imperatives. The Manager will also collaborate closely with other key functions and regions/countries on the execution of initiatives and ensures consistency and alignment across brands and overall corporate objectives.

The Manager is a proactive, highly motivated contributor who combines strategic thinking with strong operational discipline. This individual is expected to independently drive projects forward, anticipate risks and opportunities, manage multiple priorities effectively, and ensure high-quality execution across functions, agency partners, and regions/countries.

The role collaborates closely with Marketing, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Finance, Corporate Communications, Patient Advocacy, and regional/country teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and compliant execution of key initiatives. The Manager also supports material review and approval workflows, including use of Veeva, and ensures adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Collaborates closely with Global Brand Lead and respective team members to co-lead or support the development and execution of tactical initiatives in support of the strategic imperatives for the assigned brand(s)

Partners cross-functionally and regionally to ensure the effective, aligned, and timely implementation of marketing initiatives.

Contributes as a key marketing team member to the development of global tactics and materials, including promotional materials, digital programs, congress activities, and healthcare professional educational initiatives.

Proactively identifies execution risks, operational gaps, and emerging business needs, and drives timely solutions in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

Contributes strategic input to brand planning by identifying opportunities, synthesizing insights, and recommending actions to optimize marketing initiatives.

Translates strategic direction into clear tactical plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring strong executional follow-through.

Tracks progress of key initiatives, monitors deliverables against deadlines, and helps ensure high-quality, on-time execution.

Partners with internal cross-functional partners such as Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to ensure compliant review and approval, and lifecycle management of materials in Veeva

Works with Legal and Finance partners to manage purchase orders, contracts, and elements of the brand budget

Supports the global brand planning process and coordination across brands, functions and regions/countries

Manages and maintains relationships with relevant agency partners and external vendors, including project oversight, timelines, deliverables, and regular status meetings

Ensures compliance with all corporate policies, regulations and laws

Demonstrates sound judgment and independent ownership in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or relevant discipline required

4+ years of Global Marketing or Commercial experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology setting required

Strong experience in rare disease and brand marketing/product management is preferred

Demonstrated success in the execution of key Marketing tactics, including promotional material development, implementation of digital strategy/tactics, congress support, and healthcare professional education, etc.

Demonstrated expertise and experience in brand development, agency management and global campaign development/delivery/localization.

Experience in collaborating cross-functionally on a Global, country, or regional level or across brands to successfully manage and implement key projects or tactics

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, team environment consisting of internal and external team members

Proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated, with the ability to anticipate issues, identify opportunities, and drive work forward with limited direction.

Experience working within Veeva Systems or similar content review and approval platforms; familiarity with promotional material review workflows strongly preferred.

Strong operational and project management skills, enthusiasm, confidence, ability to work on multiple tasks, problem solving ability, comfort in an ambiguous environment, and ability to prioritize effectively to meet organizational objectives

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.

Travel requirements : Up to 20%

Candidate must be able to travel to Warren, NJ as needed

Expected Base Salary Range: $ 115,700 – $145,600. The base salary offered will be contingent on assessment of candidate education level, background, and experience relative to the requirements of the position they are being considered for, as well as review of internal equity.

In addition to base salary, PTC employees are also eligible for short- and long-term incentives. All eligible employees may also enroll in PTC’s medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans
