Job Description

​ Responsibilities

• •Manage tax compliance for operating units, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and foreign tax
• •Review tax returns, tax computations, transfer pricing documentation, and related schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance
• •Prepare tax advisory support on business transactions and identify tax planning opportunities to optimize tax outcomes
• •Assess and manage tax risks and recommend practical solutions to support business objectives
• •Lead tax audits, investigations, appeals and engagements with tax authorities and external advisors
• •Provide technical guidance to tax and finance teams and drive continuous process improvements
• •Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of tax-related matters and reporting requirements
• •Maintain tax data and support tax analytics initiatives

Requirements

• •Degree/Professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or other related courses
• •At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large corporate environment and/ or professional services firm
• •Strong technical knowledge of Malaysian taxation, including corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and international tax matters
• •Experience in managing tax audits, disputes, and stakeholder engagements
• •Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• •Experience in tax data analytics, e-invoicing, and tax transformation initiatives
• •Experience in managing tax matters across multiple entities and jurisdictions within a large corporate group
