About This Opportunity

Join the Child Health Research Centre as Manager, Network Engagement and Communications for the First 10K Days Child, Adolescent and Family Wellbeing Network. Working closely with the Network Convenor, leadership team and members, you will provide high-level strategic and operational leadership that turns priorities into purposeful initiatives, partnerships, events and communications. In this collaborative and inclusive environment, you will connect researchers, clinicians, policymakers, service providers, funders and community stakeholders, helping the Network exchange knowledge, translate research and create meaningful change for children, adolescents and families.

Key responsibilities will include:

• •Translate the Network’s strategic priorities into actionable workplans, deliverables, operational processes, milestone reports, briefs, communications and evaluation activities.
• •Develop and implement an integrated communication and engagement approach that strengthens connections, collaboration, knowledge exchange, research translation and workforce capability across the Network.
• •Build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with researchers, partner organisations, clinicians, policymakers, service providers, funders and community stakeholders, while coordinating forums, training sessions, recognition events and partnership meetings.
• •Collaborate with internal specialists to design and continuously improve practical, user-centred digital platforms, communication systems and engagement tools, while supporting effective governance, clear decision-making and sustainable partnerships.

About You

• •Demonstrated experience developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies within a large or complex organisation.
• •Demonstrated ability to establish, manage and sustain positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including researchers, partner organisations, policymakers, service providers, community stakeholders and funding partners.
• •Experience contributing to communication, engagement, partnership or marketing solutions, including digital platforms, applications or other technology-enabled communication tools.
• •Strong strategic and operational capability, with experience translating priorities into practical plans, deliverables, events, communications and measurable outcomes.
• •Highly developed organisational, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work.
• •The ability to collaborate effectively with technical specialists, including information technology, digital, marketing and external vendors, to translate user needs into practical and intuitive solutions.
