About the Role:
We're looking for a Product & Retail Marketing Manager to own go-to-market strategy for Nanit's feature/hardware launches and lead our retail marketing efforts across key accounts. This role sits at the intersection of product and marketing — someone who can translate a feature roadmap into a clear launch plan, and just as comfortably turn brand messaging into retail-ready programs that drive sell-in and sell-through at Amazon, Target, or Babylist.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Marketing & GTM Strategy, you'll partner closely with product, sales, creative, brand, growth, and CS teams — plus retail partners directly — to bring launches and in-store or on-site moments to life.
What You''ll Do:
Product Marketing
Own go-to-market strategy and execution for software feature launches — from brief through positioning, messaging, sales/CS enablement, and post-launch measurement
Support hardware launch GTM from concept to shelf, aligning product messaging with production timelines, retail sell-in windows, and inventory availability
Partner with product and engineering to build commercial launch timelines and keep cross-functional workstreams on track
Translate product capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with parents
Own and maintain messaging frameworks for key products and features, ensuring consistency across launches, retail, paid, and owned touch-points
Build and maintain lifecycle and education content that helps customers get lasting value from Nanit's products
Partner with UX Research to surface consumer insights that inform product roadmap and messaging, and collaborate with outside research/insights partners (agencies, panels, etc.) to fill gaps and validate market opportunities
Retail Marketing
Own retail marketing programs across key accounts (Amazon, Target, Babylist) that drive traffic, conversion, and consistent brand presence
Translate brand and product messaging into retail-ready assets — display ad copy, PDP content, influencer briefs, and in-store/on-site placements
Manage retail marketing calendars and deliverable trackers to hit retailer-specific launch and campaign deadlines
Cultivate relationships with retail partners to identify and activate on brand exposure opportunities
Other
Monitor competitive landscape, trends, and customer feedback to inform hardware/software launch and retail strategy
Ensure product launches and retail moments stay consistent with Nanit's voice and visual identity
Report on launch (feature, hardware, retail program) performance, using data to refine future strategy
Who You Are:
5+ years of experience in product marketing, retail marketing, or a role spanning both — ideally at a consumer tech, hardware, or DTC company
A track record of owning GTM plans or retail programs end-to-end, from strategy through execution and measurement
Comfortable managing multiple launches and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
Strong writer and communicator, able to translate product features into messaging that works across owned, retail, and paid channels
Naturally curious about the end consumer, with an instinct for grounding product and retail decisions in what parents actually experience
Highly organized and detail-oriented, you don't lose track of deliverables across several retailers and launches at once
Strong cross-functional collaborator, you bring in the right people at the right time without needing everything defined upfront
Data-informed: you use performance data to guide decisions, not just gut instinct
Direct retail partner-facing experience (Amazon, Target, or similar) strongly preferred
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
Hybrid in office schedule
Remote work from home month in August
Flexible PTO (we trust you to take the time you need)
Equity options so you can share in our growth
Paid parental leave for all new parents
Employee discounts on Nanit products
Work from home stipend
Monthly team events
EEO, Salary and Location:
This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC 2-3 days per week
Salary Range: $100,000 to $110,000 + plus equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We provide employment opportunities without regard to age, race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other protected class.
