As the Manager, International Sales Development , you’ll lead a group of Sales Professionals who stand as the front line of our well-established Sales Organization. The LDR and BDR teams are directly responsible for a very large piece of Five9’s revenue — we’re looking for someone who can dive headfirst into this incredible role, lead our International Sales Development team, and help us continue our growth across international markets.

What You’ll Do:

Recruit, hire, train and manage a world-class team of Inbound Lead Development Representatives and Outbound Business Development Representatives across Five9’s International Sales Organization

Manage day-to-day operations, including teaching, coaching, removing bottlenecks, and ensuring the team is positioned to consistently achieve its goals

Own and maintain the team quota, with a focus on driving continued growth in meetings, opportunities, pipeline generation, and overall team performance

Create new trainings to teach our team new skills that will help them succeed in this role and throughout their entire career

Be very comfortable using data to support decisions and initiatives

Monitor and analyze inbound and outbound processes, metrics, and tools to maximize success across the LDR/BDR teams — challenge the status quo, we can always improve!

Inspire and motivate the team to create an environment of openness, creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement

Work cross-functionally with Sales Management, Sales Operations, Demand Generation, and Marketing to support Five9’s international growth

You Might Be A Fit If:

4+ years of experience exceeding goals in a quota-carrying prospecting and closing Sales role

1+ year(s) of experience directly managing is encouraged (SaaS is preferred)

You have proven experience — and passion for — coaching, motivating, and growing the ability of those around you

You have experience leading a team toward quota and can demonstrate consistent growth and improvement in team performance

You are a self-starter with the ability to quickly identify problems and come up with solutions

You take ownership — comfortable with defining goals, success factors, key metrics for programs, and delivering against them

Strong experience running experiments (A/B testing methodology) in order to continuously improve our processes

Strong knowledge of SFDC — reporting, SFDC workflow management, etc.

You have experience selling a technical product or possess the aptitude to quickly learn this

You are comfortable leading and collaborating with a distributed International Sales Development team across multiple markets and time zones

This role may be remote; however, candidates should be located within reasonable proximity to Five9’s London office to support in-person collaboration with the team and broader organization as needed.
