The role requires strong numerical analysis, attention to detail, forecasting, and the ability to manage multiple operational deadlines while maintaining effective controls.

Three Best Things About the Role

Lead the operational connection between deal inventory, vendor negotiations, media orders, reporting, and Finance reconciliation.

Use historical performance, Matrix spending data, IMS records, and Arianna Adex data to support practical commercial and trading decisions.

Work across cluster teams, media vendors, Finance, and market, regional, and global stakeholders.

What Is Expected in the First

3 months

Understand current TV deal inventory, cluster forecasts, media-order processes, reporting schedules, and trading controls.

Manage media order processing and supporting documentation with consistent accuracy.

Take ownership of recurring inventory, revenue, Proprietary Media deal-control, Finance, deal/bulk consumption, and Matrix spending reports.

6 months

Support vendor negotiations, annual TV price benchmarking, and corrective actions for pacing, margin, and inventory risks.

Build working relationships with cluster teams, Finance, media vendors, and relevant approval stakeholders.

Become familiar with IMS records, Matrix spending data, Arianna Adex data, and the supporting trackers used by the team.

12 months

Be a dependable point of contact for inventory deal management, pricing, media-order operations, and trading governance.

Improve the accuracy, control, or efficiency of reporting, reconciliation, inventory consumption, and supporting documentation.

Provide clear recommendations on underutilization, overconsumption, variance, and deal risk.

Responsibilities

Inventory Deal Management

Forecast TV deal inventory using historical data and cluster forecasts.

Develop and submit deal inventory proposals in IMS for market, regional, and global review and approval.

Coordinate deal agreements with internal stakeholders and media vendors.

Maintain inventory billing, cost, and supporting documentation in IMS.

Monitor consumption, pacing, margin, and risk; identify underutilization or overconsumption and recommend corrective actions.

Pricing and Vendor Negotiation

Lead negotiations with TV stations and media vendors on buying rates, packages, added value, and commercial terms.

Develop client packages based on campaign requirements.

Create Proprietary Media TV rate cards for cluster use.

Conduct annual TV media price benchmarking.

Media Order Operations

Review media naming and terms and conditions on approved media plans, purchase orders, and pricing before processing.

Process original, additional, revised, and cancellation of media orders from clusters to TV vendors.

Collect fully signed media orders required for Finance billing.

Reporting, Data, and Financial Control

Prepare weekly inventory and revenue reporting, Proprietary Media deal-control reporting, Finance reporting, deal/bulk consumption reporting, and Matrix spending data.

Update quarterly deal consumption and media-owner spend in IMS.

Reconcile billing and cost with Finance during month-end and investigate variance.

Generate Adex data for inflation analysis from Arianna.

Compliance and Governance

Ensure media plans, orders, deal submissions, and agreements comply with trading policies.

Maintain controls over media channel naming in media plans, media-order approvals, and terms and conditions in media plans.

Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate the following:

5+ experiences in media trading, media investment, media buying, planning, or commercial media operations, preferably with TV exposure.

Strong numerical analysis skills and attention to detail.

Hands-on experience in inventory management, pricing, vendor negotiation, media-order processing, reporting, or financial reconciliation.

Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage tight timelines.
