The Manufacturing Industrial Optimization Engineer for Transmissions Assembly is responsible for improving the efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of manufacturing operations by optimizing the interconnected components of production systems.

Position offers a starting salary range of $86,000 – $110,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive

• •Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance within manufacturing operations.
• •Analyze and optimize production workflows, material movement, ergonomics, equipment utilization, and facility layouts to improve efficiency.
• •Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping methodologies to reduce waste and enhance operational performance.
• •Identify process bottlenecks and implement sustainable solutions that improve throughput, capacity, and resource utilization.
• •Utilize data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational improvements and support business objectives.
• •Support facility planning, manufacturing optimization projects, and process improvement initiatives.
• •Develop and maintain standard work, visual management systems, and process controls to sustain performance gains.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational excellence strategies and continuous improvement projects.

Knowledge You Should Bring

• •Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical field.
• •Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant manufacturing, industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations optimization experience.
• •Knowledge of manufacturing processes: 8D,5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• •1+ Years experience analyzing and optimizing: production workflows, material flow and material handling systems, facility layout, workstation design and ergonomics, equipment utilization, and Labor efficiency
• •1+ years exposure conducting: time studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, bottle next analysis, and throughput improvement projects
• •Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• •Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing data analysis tools.

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

• •Experience in automotive, heavy manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial production environments.
• •Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies.
