Under the direction of marketing staff, the Marketing intern executes day-to-day communications and marketing activities across high-visibility projects. This role provides hands-on experience in material writing and distribution, social media content, event and trade show coordination, brand management, internal communications, and digital content management. The intern contributes directly to projects that reach customers, media, employees, and external stakeholders.

*This position has a Spring/Summer 2027 start date.

YOUR IMPACT

• •Write, edit, and distribute press releases, blog articles, internal newsletter content, and other communications materials for external and internal audiences.
• •Develop social media content and support digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
• •Support execution of trade shows, events, and customer engagements—including coordination, messaging, and materials preparation.
• •Manage website content updates using WordPress and maintain brand consistency across digital properties.
• •Monitor and track media coverage, build media lists, and distribute materials to targeted outlets.
• •Support internal communications initiatives including employee announcements, newsletters, and intranet content.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams on branding, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
• •Coordinate project timelines, track deliverables, and maintain communications archives and distribution lists.
• •All other duties or projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• •Student working towards a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field throughout the entire duration of the internship.
• •Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the Summer of 2027 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Oshkosh, WI).
• •Graduation date of December 2027 or later.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

• •Strong writing and editing skills with portfolio samples.
• •Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design.
• •Experience with WordPress or other web content management systems.
• •Demonstrated interest in defense, manufacturing, or B2B marketing.
• •Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• •Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
