MARKETING DIRECTOR

Summary

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Marketing Office on Moody AFB. Guaranteed 35 hours but may work up to 40 hours per week. Must be able to work an irregular shift to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Duties

Develops and implements marketing plans, promotional campaigns, advertising media, commercial sponsorship policies, programs, and strategies. Plans and coordinates the details of recurring and non-recurring activities, special events, and joint community undertakings. Schedules and publicizes activities. Coordinates and assists with set-up and teardown requirements for programs and events. Accounts for all funds involved in program and makes recommendations for improvements in funding and other support services. Supervisory duties to include but no limited to, employee management, developing work schedules, assignments, training, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations. Qualifying Experience: Must have progressively responsible administrative, technical professional work experience which provided a thorough knowledge of marketing/advertising principles and practices. Experience which demonstrated the ability to design and layout advertising copy and artwork. Must have experience developing, conducting and analyzing market research information. Supervisory experience is required.
