Join HCF on a 12-month max-term contract delivering local campaigns, activations and partnerships that drive leads and growth.
This is a 12-month max-term contract opportunity within HCF's Local Area Marketing team at an exciting time of growth and investment.
Local Area Marketing is a growing focus for HCF and plays an important role in helping us strengthen our presence in the communities we serve. As a Local Area Marketing Specialist, you'll work closely with our branch network, agency partners and internal stakeholders to deliver local campaigns and activations that drive awareness, generate leads and support business growth.
This is a hands-on role where you'll help bring local marketing plans to life, from community events and shopping centre activations through to out-of-home advertising, local partnerships and branch-led campaigns. You'll work alongside branch teams to understand local opportunities, make recommendations on marketing investment and support the delivery of initiatives that connect with local audiences and deliver measurable outcomes.
You'll also play an important role in shaping local marketing roadmaps, managing agency relationships and using performance insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness. Working within a collaborative marketing team, you'll help ensure activity is aligned to HCF's brand, strategic priorities and commitment to delivering Uncommon Care.
You're a marketing professional who enjoys seeing campaigns come to life and understands the role local marketing plays in driving engagement, leads and business performance.
About you
You may already be working in a Local Area Marketing, Retail Marketing, Field Marketing, Campaigns, Events or Activations role and be looking for your next step. Equally, you may have started your career in a customer-facing or branch-based environment and moved into marketing, bringing valuable insight into how local communities and customers engage with brands.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience delivering marketing campaigns, local activations, events or community engagement initiatives.
- Experience working with creative, production or media agencies to develop and deliver marketing assets and campaigns.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and influence outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret campaign results, identify opportunities and make informed recommendations.
- Experience coordinating marketing activity across multiple channels, with exposure to local area marketing, retail marketing or community-based campaigns highly regarded.
- Exposure to activations, events, shopping centre marketing, local partnerships, out-of-home advertising or print marketing.
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
You'll also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience within financial services, insurance, health, banking, retail or another customer-focused industry will be highly regarded.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys collaborating with others, takes ownership of delivering outcomes and shares HCF's commitment to putting people first.
