Role: Material Handler

Location: Blackpool, FY4 4NW

Hours: 37 hours per week | between 07:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday

Hourly rate: Up to £15.69 ph DOE

Are you organised, proactive, and ready to keep production moving? We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Material Handler to join our Materials team!

This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring materials are delivered to the right place at the right time. You’ll work closely with production teams to support smooth operations and maintain high standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate supply of materials to production lines

Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production needs

Maintain a safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures

Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as required

Support inventory accuracy and resolve material handling issues

Ideal Candidate:

Experience in line storage, receiving, and distribution of parts

Familiar with inventory management systems (e.g. Avante)

Good initiative and problem-solving skills

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Able to communicate effectively and work well in a team

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

FLT licence, overhead crane licence, or driving licence is a bonus

Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, stooping, and moving between units
