Material Planner

1. Material Planning & Supply Assurance:

I. Run SAP MRP and translate approved production requirements into supplier schedules and call-offs.

II. Review shortages, capacity constraints and delivery commitments; escalate risks and coordinate recovery actions.

2. Inventory & Master Data:

I. Optimize raw-material inventory and MRP parameters — safety stock, MOQ, lot size and lead time.

II. Support inventory-turn, stock-value, slow-moving, cycle-count and physical-inventory targets; maintain accurate SAP data.

3. Supplier Performance & Relationships:

I. Track OTD, past-due deliveries, deviations and logistics incidents.

II. Drive root-cause and corrective actions while building collaborative, responsive supplier relationships.

4. Launch & Change Management:

I. Support new-program launches, engineering changes, localization and phase-in / phase-out activities.

II. Ensure material availability while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.

5. Cost & Logistics Control:

I. Assess and control premium freight, secure required approvals and monitor cost against budget.

II. Support supplier recovery and eliminate avoidable material, inventory and logistics costs without compromising delivery.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination & Improvement:

I. Work with Production Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Finance and suppliers; join operational and S&OP / SIOP reviews.

II. Use approved data and digital tools to improve planning accuracy, visibility and exception management.

7. Compliance:

I. Comply with IATF 16949, applicable ISO standards, internal procedures and plant health and safety requirements.
