Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Guyana at the Oko West Mine Site.

Assist with mechanical system design, including layout of piping, pumps, tanks, and mechanical equipment.

Prepare technical documentation, equipment specifications, and installation drawings.

Support construction and field teams by resolving design issues and assisting with commissioning.

Perform quality control inspections and ensure equipment is installed to spec.

Requirements

Minimum education : Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Relevant experience : Minimum 3-5 years in mechanical engineering roles with a focus on gold mining construction projects.

Additional skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar CAD software. Familiarity with rotating equipment, pump systems, and mechanical testing procedures.

Salary Rang e: Negotiable.

Employment Type : Temporary contract for the duration of the construction.

Working Hours : Rotation schedule: 23 of work followed by 19 days off.
