Mendix Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mendix Developer with at least 3 to 5 years of experience and Mendix Advanced Certification to design, develop, and maintain low-code applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Mendix UI customization, along with hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using the Mendix platform.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Mendix applications using best practices and reusable components

Customize and enhance UI/UX using Mendix Atlas UI, pluggable widgets, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces with a strong focus on usability and performance

Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes

Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner

Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and backend developers

Technical requirements

Mendix Advanced Certification (mandatory)

Minimum 3+ years of experience in Mendix development

Strong experience in UI customization and front-end development within Mendix

Proficiency in:

Mendix Studio Pro

Atlas UI Framework

REST/Soap APIs

Kafka Integration

Snowflake

HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React is a plus)

Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

Additional responsibilities

Experience with microflows, nanoflows, and domain modeling

Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Exposure to cloud platforms (Preferred: Mendix Cloud)

Experience in performance tuning and application monitoring

Knowledge of security best practices in Mendix
