Overview

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Mental Health Associate in the Behavioral Health Unit. This position p erforms direct and indirect patient care activities for mental health patients, including technical duties in support of the delivery of nursing care and under supervision of a RN. Leads and co-facilitates educational and activity groups. Assists with milieu management to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Education

Bachelor's degree (Required)

or

4 years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Certification/Licensure

QMHP certification (preferred)

1 year of working experience in behavioral health

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $20.50 - $30.59 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
