Mental Health Tech - Carrefour - PRN Essential Responsibilities:

• •Complete timely and accurate documentation as per Health System/affiliate policy.
• •Provide crisis stabilization services to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
• •Supports clients as it relates to daily living, medication compliance, goal management, crisis management, and client safety.
• •Utilize deescalating skills when appropriate.
• •Interact with clients in a positive and supporting manner.
• •Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values.
• •Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
• •Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.

Minimum Qualifications :

Required Education and Experience

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Must be at least 21 years of age

Required License/Certifications/Registrations

• •Current BLS/CPR card from approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation, whichever comes first.
• •Kansas Driver’s License (if position requires driving)
• •Auto Insurance equal to or greater than the Kansas Insurance requirements (if position requires driving)
• •Successfully pass KBI, DCF, child abuse check, adult abuse registry, and routine motor-vehicle screens.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Education and Experience

Two years or more professional experience in mental health services, crisis response, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• •Familiarity with community mental health services.
• •Basic computer skills.
• •Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• •Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

Light Work: Occasionally exerting up to 25 lbs - frequently exerting up to 10 lbs. 11-25% of the day may be standing or walking.
