Roles & Responsibilities :-

  • Mentor students enrolled under the Kotak Junior Scholarship (KJS) Program.
  • Prepare and manage a schedule for student calls and online mentoring sessions.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to track students' academic progress and overall development.
  • Support students in creating study timetables and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  • Motivate and guide students to achieve their academic goals.
  • Resolve academic queries and connect students with relevant study materials and learning resources.
  • Implement project activities as per defined objectives and timelines.
  • Support the scholarship intake and onboarding process.
  • Conduct orientation sessions on the online application process.
  • Assist students with registration, application submission, and mandatory document collection.
  • Perform selection activities, including document verification, telephonic interviews, and home visits.
  • Coordinate and support program activities such as Flip Learning, academic sessions, Career Mapping Tests, mentoring, and home visits.
  • Maintain quantitative program data for monitoring and reporting.
  • Prepare qualitative case studies, student profiles, and success stories as required.
  • Project reporting & control:
  • Work on quantitative data for monitoring of the program
  • Prepare qualitative case studies and student profiles of the students as and when required.

Technical Skills:-

  • Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and execute projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills for effective project implementation.
  • Proficiency in digital platforms and adaptability to learn new technologies.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel), MIS, and web-based applications.
  • Strong counselling, presentation, public speaking, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Job Specifications:

  • Nature of Job - Fulltime
  • Location - Head Office - Govandi, Mumbai
  • Hours Of Work - 6 days, 8 hours; 2 Saturdays off every month in addition to the regular weekly off on Sundays

Note : This role requires field travel based on project requirements. The Mentor role involves approximately 40–50% fieldwork , while the Field Mentor role requires 90–95% fieldwork .
