We are seeking a methodical, result-driven Merchandise Analyst Planner to join our team in Brisbane/Rowville. Reporting to the General Manager Merchandise Planning and Transformation, this role contributes to the profitability, growth and return on investment of GPC Asia Pacific.

You will ensure that optimal supply chain plans are generated and executed for your vendors, by:

• •End to end replenishment tasks within your portfolio
• •Purchasing in line with distribution structure
• •Managing supplier performance and KPI’s within supply chain functions
• •Building strong working relationships with key contacts - external vendors as well as internal clients such as Category Management and Group Support teams
• •Execution of strategic domestic and international supply initiatives
• •Timely ordering and delivery of stock
• •Actively contribute to inventory meetings and following up on action items

Additionally our Merchandise Analyst Planner is responsible for monitoring forecasts, reporting, order management, reviewing various elements of purchasing, managing promotional information, and managing the lost sales/availability issues of assigned vendor products, and other relevant responsibilities.

• •Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• •Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, and ideally exposure to Access databases
• •Strong drive to meet business deadlines and display resilience in a fast paced work environment
• •Ability to develop trusted professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• •Well-developed negotiation skills
• •Big picture view, allowing you to see the ongoing flow on effects of actions and processes
• •Relevant professional experience gained from a similar/same position
