Job Description – Mid-Level Urban Planner

• Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat
• Experience: 5–8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• •Prepare master plans, development plans, and urban design proposals for city-level and regional projects.
• •Conduct land use analysis, zoning studies, infrastructure assessments, and urban growth projections.
• •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including urban designers, architects, transportation planners, and engineers.
• •Support preparation of DPRs, feasibility studies, policy documents, and planning reports.
• •Develop GIS-based planning analysis, spatial mapping, and data interpretation.
• •Participate in stakeholder consultations, client meetings, and presentations.
• •Ensure compliance with local planning regulations, development control regulations (DCR), and statutory requirements.
• •Assist in project implementation, monitoring, and coordination with government agencies.

Required Qualifications:

• •Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Urban Planning / Town Planning.
• •5–8 years of relevant experience in urban planning, master planning, or infrastructure planning projects.
• •Experience working on government, smart city, township, or urban development projects.
• •Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, MS Office, and planning software/tools.
• •Strong report writing, analytical, and presentation skills.
• •Knowledge of Indian urban planning policies, regulations, and development frameworks.

Preferred Skills:

• •Experience in detail design and implementation projects.
• •Exposure to riverfront, urban redevelopment, smart city, or public realm projects.
• •Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• •Strong communication and client management skills.
