About Corewell Health Wayne Hospital

Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

· Associate’s degree or equivalent. Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program or the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) Required.

· 1 year of relevant experience. 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.

· CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI)-ARMRIT Certification Upon Hire Preferred or

· CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI_-ARRT-Certification Upon Hired Required or

• •CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
• •CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
• •CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
• •CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required
• •Or CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
• •CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire Required Or
• •CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire Required Or
