The Multi-Platform Programming Manager supports QVC UK and owns the end-to-end multi-platform programming calendar, translating commercial priorities and go-to-market strategies into an integrated schedule across TV and digital destinations.

This is a leadership role for an experienced programming professional who can balance creative content decisions with commercial outcomes, including sales, productivity, customer growth and new-customer acquisition. You will lead the planning and execution of events across platforms, while establishing consistent programming standards, governance and performance routines.

Where You'll Work

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Chiswick Park, West London, two days a week .

What You'll Do

• •Own the multi-platform programming calendar, ensuring aligned execution across TV and digital platforms and timely schedule delivery within agreed guardrails.
• •Lead category and mixed-event programming, partnering with Cat-Plat/AP, Trading, Buying, C&M and Platform teams to align content with commercial, customer and operational priorities.
• •Lead scheduling resources across platforms and ensure effective handoffs to guest, studio, digital, social and content teams.
• •Define and continuously improve programming standards and playbooks covering slot allocation, statics, events, hero placement, hourly builds, TSV placement, counter-programming and plan-B scheduling.
• •Use audience, traffic, platform productivity and campaign performance trends to identify risks and opportunities, informing short-term in-month optimisation.
• •Maintain market and competitive awareness, adapting programming plans in response to external events, product availability and changing performance signals.
• •Review and sign off the multi-highlight calendar, approve final schedule builds within agreed guardrails, and sign off event strategy and rotation.
• •Recommend programming and campaign placement trade-offs, escalating conflicts across customer, product, platform and commercial priorities where required.
• •Lead and develop the Programming team, maintaining engagement through clear communication and recognition, coaching team members and supporting day-to-day performance management.

What You'll Bring

• •Significant experience in programming, scheduling, content planning or a closely related commercial, broadcast or multi-platform environment.
• •Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret and use KPIs relating to sales, productivity, conversion, audience, traffic, customer growth and new-customer contribution.
• •Proven experience of leading, developing and motivating a team, with the resilience and judgement to manage competing requirements across multiple stakeholder groups.
• •Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels and make clear, timely decisions.
• •The ability to balance creativity, customer needs, commercial priorities and robust governance.
• •Experience of using performance data and market insight to optimise programming plans and respond effectively to emerging opportunities and risks.
