NOC Engineer

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

The NOC Engineer provides advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated incidents. This role involves deeper analysis, applying fixes or workarounds, and ensuring service restoration within SLA. This role requires working a 24/7 rotational shift.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• •Investigate and resolve incidents escalated by Level 1.
• •Perform advanced diagnostics using logs, configurations, and scripts.
• •Apply fixes or temporary workarounds to restore services.
• •Escalate critical or widespread issues to Incident Manager.
• •Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams during major incidents.
• •Document troubleshooting steps and resolution details.
• •Contribute to knowledge base and SOP improvements.

Skills You Bring:

• •Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS and networking fundamentals.
• •Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, Cloud computing.
• •Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools.
• •Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot application/service issues.
• •Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred).
• •Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• •Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science.
• •3–6 years of experience in NOC or IT operations.
