Non-invasive Cardiology Overview:

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center (SAMC) is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving northeastern North Carolina. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology with strong team support and a sustainable call schedule.

Position Highlights:

• •Required Procedures:
• •Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
• •Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging

• •Weekly Schedule:
• •3–4 days inpatient rounding (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with APP support
• •1–2 days outpatient clinic (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• •Clinic Volume:
• •Average of 20 patients per day

• •Call Schedule:
• •1:4 call rotation

• •Full-Time and PRN/Flex options available
• •Leverage advanced AI tools like Cleerly and DASI to enhance cardiac diagnostics and decision-making, while Dragon Copilot streamlines inpatient and outpatient charting—helping clinicians work smarter, faster, and more accurately

Requirements :

• •BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine
• •Experience with Nuclear Stress Testing
• •Experience with NIV and echocardiography

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $366,537.60 - $405,121.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
