CNA/CMA – Go Beyond Traditional Nursing | Make a Difference in Mental Health Services

Pay: starting from $22.36 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

What You’ll Do:

• •Obtain, accurately measure, and document vital signs and other patient health information.
• •Assist nursing and medical staff with medication appointments, procedures, and patient monitoring.
• •Communicate patient concerns, changes, and clinical findings to the appropriate nurse or medical provider.
• •Assist with patient assessments, including obtaining PHQ-9s and completing required medical information.
• •Support patients with prescription needs, lab orders, medication access, and follow-up care.
• •Assist with telemedicine appointments and coordinate care between patients and providers.
• •Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records.
• •Assist with Spravato® treatments, including monitoring patients during treatment.
• •Receive training and assist with TMS treatments as needed.
• •Help coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up appointments.
• •Provide education and information to patients regarding their care, services, and available resources.
• •Continue developing your knowledge of psychiatric disorders, psychopharmacology, and behavioral health through ongoing training and education.
• •Work closely with the nursing and medical team to ensure patients receive consistent, coordinated care.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Current Kansas CNA or CMA certification required.

· Nursing experience in a psychiatric/mental health setting, physician office, or similar clinical environment is preferred.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to educate and support patients regarding their health and care.

· Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health conditions and a variety of clinical and human service needs.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document and communicate patient information.

· Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, and other technology used in a healthcare setting.

· Willingness to learn and continue developing knowledge of mental health, psychiatric disorders, and psychopharmacology.

· Must successfully complete required background checks, screenings, and pre-employment drug screening.
