Job Title: Obstetrics Sonographer (General Experience Desired) Location: Gloucestershire
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics Sonographer to join a well-regarded NHS service in Gloucestershire. This role primarily focuses on obstetric ultrasound, though general scanning experience is highly desirable. You’ll be working within a supportive team, delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of obstetric ultrasound examinations to a high clinical standard.
Undertake general ultrasound scans where required.
Accurately report findings and make appropriate referrals.
Contribute to the delivery of a professional and efficient ultrasound service.
Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Requirements:
HCPC registration.
Minimum of 6 months’ NHS experience (applications without this will be automatically rejected).
Proven experience in obstetrics scanning.
Additional general ultrasound experience is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
