Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join its client’s Adult Social Care team based in Lewes, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated OT who enjoys working within the community, supporting adults to maximise their independence and achieve positive outcomes through person-centred, strengths-based practice.

You'll work with adults with a variety of physical and functional needs, completing assessments, recommending equipment and adaptations, and working closely with health and social care professionals to deliver coordinated support.

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out Occupational Therapy assessments within community settings

Assessing functional abilities and identifying barriers to independent living

Recommending appropriate equipment and home adaptations

Completing moving and handling assessments where required

Developing person-centred intervention and support plans

Supporting adults to maximise their independence and wellbeing

Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, carers, and partner agencies

Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant case records

Promoting safe, strengths-based practice and positive outcomes

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist

Experience working within Adult Social Care and/or community settings

Strong assessment, analytical, and clinical reasoning skills

Experience recommending equipment and adaptations

The ability to manage a varied caseload independently

Excellent communication and partnership-working skills

A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
