Occupational Therapist – Local Authority

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for experienced Locum Occupational Therapists to support the London Borough of Sutton.

This is a flexible opportunity for an experienced OT to manage community-based cases through to completion, including assessment, equipment provision, risk management and major adaptation referrals.

Key responsibilities of the role

Complete Occupational Therapy assessments and progress cases through to closure.

Record assessments and documentation accurately on Mosaic.

Obtain manager sign-off prior to case closure.

Assess and recommend appropriate equipment where required.

Complete risk assessments and reviews to ensure safe and effective interventions.

Identify and progress major adaptation referrals when necessary.

Work collaboratively with service users, carers, Social Workers, health professionals, and partner agencies.

Maintain accurate records and ensure cases are completed within required timescales.

Requirements

Occupational Therapy Degree or Diploma.

Current HCPC registration.

Experience within Adult Social Care, community services, or a Local Authority setting.

Strong knowledge of assessment, specialist equipment, and major adaptations.

Experience completing risk assessments and reviews.

Excellent case management and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage cases through to completion.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Payment & Performance Expectations

£350 flat rate per completed case closure.

A case is considered complete once the assessment is recorded on Mosaic, manager sign-off is obtained, and any required equipment provision, risk assessment activity, or adaptation referral has been finalised.

Minimum expectation of 10 completed case closures per month.
