Onsite Logistics Lead I - Construction

The Onsite Logistics Lead role within our logistics department is responsible for developing, coordinating/managing the Logistics Process, managing the Onsite Logistics team , and coordinating the site logistics within the electrical construction industry. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associated Degree or can substitute education with 5-7 years of related experience

Experience: 5-7 years of related logistics experience

CPIM – (Certified in Production and Inventory Management - Preferred)

CLTD – (Certified Logistics, Transportation and Distribution - Preferred)

Travel: 75-100%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Demonstrates ability to manage site logistics, including 1-25 onsite logistics personnel effectively while focusing on delivering materials, tools, and equipment to the specific task locations for install.
• •Demonstrates the capability to drive electrician productivity by ensuring they have all materials, tools, and equipment at their task locations prior to install.
• •Demonstrates a basic understanding of logistics processes and Lean techniques (5s).
• •Supports remobilization of electrician crews, allowing electricians to continue providing value-added install.
• •Works with Faith support processes (Excellerate, Purchasing) to provide materials and assemblies to the job site.
• •Demonstrates ability to complete basic paperwork (i.e., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, tool repairs, timecards, etc.) in a timely manner.
• •Orders and tracks materials, performs cost projections.
• •Works as a member of a cohesive team and is capable and understanding of Material Handler and Logistics Specialist roles to assist logistics team members.
• •Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
