As a Sales Assistant/Warehouse Operative based in Aviemore, you’ll be responsible for:

Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations

Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude

Ensuring that all incoming deliveries comply with the delivery paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put stock away in the warehouse

Picking and packing items to fulfil customer requirements which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets

Driving a 3.5T van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to local customers

This is a Full Time permanent position working 42.50 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 07.30am - 5.00pm, Friday 07.30am - 4.00pm and every other Saturday 08.00am - 12.00pm.

A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential

Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal

Previous Face to Face sales and customer service experience

Warehouse experience

The ability to deliver outstanding customer service

To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch

Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic

To be comfortable lifting heavy items
