Operations Controller

Job Description Summary ​

Support the BU CFOs in all finance matters end-to-end together with the BU heads, manage performance and steer business.

Job Description:

• •Ensure smooth coordination with other Finance teams within the CFO and outside the CFO organization
• •Act as a counsellor for finance matters & help prioritize and setup BUs needs
• •Consolidate and provide analysis on product costing across refineries
• •Ensure efficient refinery-level financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• •Review and analyze financial and operation performance of refineries regularly and ensure regular discussions take place
• •Conduct variance analysis and identify improvement steps for refineries
• •Review major investments, major disposal or strategic business decisions (Capex feasibility studies) from finance perspective
• •Provide recommendation & initiatives to improve cost efficiencies, productivity and controls for refineries
• •Ensure appropriate controls are implemented during procurement process (e.g. proper QCF, effective price comparisons) and physical inventory and fixed asset monitoring process
• •Ensure effective operations control measures are in place across units
• •Monitor overall controls and compliance with policies/SOPs in each refinery

Job Requirement:

• •Minimum bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent
• •Having minimal 2 years of experience as Operation Controller
• •Having experience as internal auditor from KAP
• •Detail oriented and good in analytical thinking
• •Fluent in English, Mandarin speaking can be advantageous
• •Willing to be located in Medan Refinery
