Job Summary
Responsible for supporting Post Acute Care Management day-to-day operations within the organization's administrative functions, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with organizational policies. Works closely with various inpatient and ambulatory departments and skilled nursing facilities to streamline processes, resolve operational issues, and contribute to the overall success of hospital initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of administrative procedures, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Essential Functions:
- -Coordinate and support administrative operations to ensure efficient workflow.
- -Assist in the development and implementation of Post Acute Care Management process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- -Collaborate with different departments and skilled nursing facilities to resolve operational issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- -Prepare dashboards, reports and documentation to support decision-making and track operational performance.
- -Maintain records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- -Provide administrative support for special projects, including research, data collection, and project coordination.
- -Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of hospital services.
- -Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment, and other resources to support daily operations.
- -Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field of study required
- 2+ years of experience in an administrative or operational support role required
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare (ambulatory or hospital) setting strongly preferred.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- - Analytical skills to assess operational processes and identify areas for improvement. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and stakeholders.
- - Proficiency in Epic, Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau and other relevant software tools.
- - Strong problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Job Details (if applicable)
Schedule and Work Model:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours.
- Hybrid work model: Must be flexible to be on-site approximately 2 times per week at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA or at medical offices as far north as Dover, NH and as far west as Northampton, MA.
- On remote workdays, employees must use a stable, secure, and compliant workstation in a quiet environment. Teams video is required and must be accessed using MGB-provided equipment.
