OPERATOR FORKLIFT - grade 2

SUMMARY: The purpose of a Forklift Operator is to move pallets of meat throughout the plant, shipping and/or warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• •Responsible for reading customer’s orders.
• •Inspect trailers for cleanliness and pest control and document results on the load accountability form.
• •Prepare the orders and load them onto the correct trailer using a Forklift.
• •Wand/scan product correctly.
• •Keep loading dock clean.
• •Employee is also responsible for using proper technique and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
