Job Functions

• •This position is maintenance work including assisting with painting, plumbing, and minor repairs.
• •Work will also include moving furniture, cleaning, and all other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Superintendent.

Minimum Qualifications

• •This position requires an ability to quickly learn methods of repair.
• •Must possess good communication skills, be flexible with a variety of assignments and must be able to exercise good judgment.
• •Experience working within a customer service-oriented environment is mandatory.
• •The employee must be able to maintain a professional attitude, promote departmental and university policies and represent the University of North Florida, the Department of Housing and Residence Life to residents and guests in a positive and supportive manner.
• •The applicant will use diplomacy while working with individuals of various backgrounds and ages.
• •Cannot be a current UNF student for this position type.

Required Qualifications

• •Experience using hand tools and handheld power tools preferred.
• •Willingness to learn new skills.
