Oracle PLSQL Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 2-3 years of experience in database development, maintenance, and optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing PL/SQL objects, writing complex SQL queries, performance tuning, and supporting enterprise database applications. The candidate will work closely with application development and business teams to deliver efficient and scalable database solutions.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL programs, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval, reporting, and application support.

Perform database design, development, and data modeling activities.

Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

Support data migration, data integration, and ETL processes.

Ensure database performance, integrity, security, and availability.

Participate in code reviews and adhere to database development standards and best practices.

Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and QA teams during development and testing phases.

Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required Skills

2-3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database and PL/SQL Development.

Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Views, and Cursors.

Experience in writing complex queries and performance optimization techniques.

Understanding of database normalization, indexing, and data modeling concepts.

Familiarity with Oracle development tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD, or equivalent.

Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of PL/SQL code.

Knowledge of database security principles and data management practices.

Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree: B.E / B.Tech or equivalent

Master's Degree: MCA / M.Tech / M.Sc or equivalent (preferred)
