What you’ll be doing:

As an Orchard Foreman, you’ll pay an important role in producing premium apples while leading and motivating a high-performing team. You’ll be hands-on in daily operations, working closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include:

Lead and coordinate daily orchard operations to maximise efficiency and quality outcomes

Implement orchard husbandry programmes as directed by the Orchard Manager

Ensure all orchard activities comply with relevant legislation

Supervise, motivate, and develop orchard staff, fostering a high-performing team culture

Champion a strong health and safety culture in accordance with company policies and procedures

Monitor orchard performance and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement

What you’ll bring:

Proven experience in large-scale horticulture and orchard operations

Confident in coaching and supervising team members

Strong knowledge of orchard technologies and systems

Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills

Familiarity with machine operation and maintenance

Knowledge of pest control, disease management, and chemical use
