Order Puller - Night Shift

Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

• •Efficiently pull customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• •Arrange all pallets to ensure safe delivery of products to customers and inspect all pallets for accurate stickers and addresses.
• •Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• •Cleaning and preparing a job site.
• •Pick orders in a timely fashion.
• •Follow bill of lading correctly.
• •Correctly build pallets according to company standard and customer specifications.
• •Safely and efficiently operate a forklift, performing such tasks as moving pallets of product, supplies and equipment from point-to-point inside and outside the facility.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• •Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
• •Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• •Frequently walk and move about the warehouse.
• •Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently.
• •Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• •Use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• •Frequently push/pull objects, including pallets and loaded pallet jacks.
• •Occasionally required to climb ladders.
• •Ability to see and read labels, safety warnings, and instructions.
• •Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• •Must be able to work in varying temperatures, including freezer, refrigerator, and dry warehouse environments.
• •Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
