We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate to fill the role of Over the Road Driver. This full-time position is based in Rockledge, FL, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to a culture built on quality, integrity, and teamwork

The Over-The-Road (OTR) Driver for Rockledge, FL will transport cabinets between various locations across the country. The OTR's responsibilities include obtaining customers' signatures upon completion of each delivery, ensuring that the freight is properly secured for transportation and notifying management of any freight damage sustained during transportation. OTR Driver should also ensure that the truck is labeled with the correct placards when transporting hazardous materials or oversized cargo. OTR Driver must be knowledgeable of all road safety regulations, adhere to all road safety regulations, must maintain concentration and alertness for extended periods, demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills as well as adhere to all company policies and procedures. NOTE: This position is for Rockledge, Florida.

Responsibilities

· Commit to producing a quality product for our customers.

· Must be able to drive long distances to make deliveries in other states as assigned and in a timely manner.

· Must be professional and courteous at all times, whether driving on the road or delivering cabinets.

· Must being physically able to use a dolly to load and unload freight as required.

· Perform pre-drive physical inspection of the tractor and trailer and report any deficiencies.

· Must be accurate in maintaining DOT logs, work/break times and company shipping documents.

· Obey all traffic and DOT laws at all times.

· Inform superiors immediately of any fines, citations or accidents.

· Inventory items delivered to the customer with the correct shipping documents.

· Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, federal, state and local laws.

· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

· High school diploma or its equivalent required with 2-3 years’ experience as a commercial driver.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be able to understand work instructions and directions in English.

· Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
