Overnight Staff Pharmacist, Amazon Pharmacy

• We are looking for a Staff Pharmacist to join us on our journey to make it drastically easier for
• customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products, and professionals
• they need to get and stay healthy!

Work Shift/Schedule:

• Wed-Sat 6.30pm-5:00am (4 ten hours shifts/week)
• or
• Thurs-Sun 6:30pm-5:00am (4 ten hours shifts/week)

• Key job responsibilities
• Core Responsibilities:
• Please note that specific responsibilities may vary by position and location. The following list
• represents potential duties that may be required:
• ● Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinical
• and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and home
• remedies)
• ● Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential
• interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to the
• prescriber as appropriate
• ● Operate and Troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems
• •Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems to
• ensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription orders
• •Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automation
• issues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards
• ● Dispense Controlled Substances and Maintain Regulatory Compliance
• •Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and
• state-specific laws
• •Maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substance
• transactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reporting
• requirements
• ● Provide Clinical Support:
• •Answer clinical questions and provide guidance
• •Collaborate with healthcare team members
• •Document all healthcare team communications
• •Investigate and resolve medication errors
• ● Additional Responsibilities:
• •Implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws
• •Maintain required regulatory documentation
• •Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• •Support pharmacy operations across departments as needed
• •Physical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least
• 20 pounds

Basic qualifications

• - • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
• - • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be
• - required)
• - • Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems
• - • Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• - • Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations
• - • Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
