Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Clinic Based

About Our Client

Our client provides specialist occupational therapy services to children aged 0–16 years in a clinic setting. Children may present with a range of diagnoses, including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Dyslexia, Speech and Language delays/disorders, global developmental delay, or neurological conditions.

The service is built around a child-centred approach, using a structured three-step process:

Identify: Comprehensive assessments to determine strengths and challenges.

Educate: Sharing knowledge with families and schools to ensure needs are understood and supported.

Accelerate: Delivering tailored therapy packages with individualised goals and activity programmes to help children reach their full potential.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist , you will:

Work as an autonomous practitioner managing a clinical caseload.

Undertake assessments using both standardised and informal tools.

Interpret assessment data and produce detailed clinical reports.

Develop child- and family-centred treatment plans using goal attainment scaling.

Deliver 1:1 and small group therapy sessions in the clinic.

Maintain high standards of clinical record keeping.

Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and manage risk.

About You

Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.

Experience in paediatric occupational therapy and clinical assessments.

Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.

Ability to plan and deliver tailored interventions for children with complex needs.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
