Paediatric Occupational Therapist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team in a specialist school setting in West London. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with a range of physical, developmental, and sensory needs to achieve their full potential in education and daily life.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to provide tailored interventions that promote independence, participation, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardised and informal tools.

Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support functional skills, self-care, and school-based activities.

Deliver 1:1 and group therapy sessions within the school environment.

Provide advice, training, and strategies to staff and caregivers to embed therapeutic approaches.

Contribute to EHCP processes and multidisciplinary reviews.

Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.

About You

Diploma/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.

HCPC registration.

Experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational or paediatric setting.

Strong understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as required.
