Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• •Prepare the vehicle surface for paint by removing rust and other debris.
• •Able to fill cavities and dents in vehicles to create an even surface.
• •Responsible to mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination and overspray.
• •Mix paints for proper color matching and similar application technique by use of paint sprayers and brushes.
• •Skilled at determining the necessary application of paint for a thorough coat; while checking for runs or sags in the paint to ensure quality.
• •Responsible to communicate all repair order issues and estimated repair times via ASR to keep all pertinent parties up to date on vehicle repairs.

Requirements

Prior experience as a body shop painter or body shop apprentice/helper.
