PAINTER LEADER

Summary

You will serve as a PAINTER LEADER in the Preservation Shop (Code 970), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Duties

• •You will plan, organize, coordinate, ad implement numerous quality-related issues and elements as they relate to the requirements and documentation of critical coated areas.
• •You will set up and use spray pumps and equipment such as conventional, airless, air assisted airless, high volume low pressure, electrostatic, electrostatic powder, and plasma powder application.
• •You will blast and produce a surface profile ready for coating.
• •You will utilize and navigate management programs such as Sup Desk, ATAMS, WEBAIM.
