A family in Brookfield, CT 06804 is seeking a reliable, warm, and attentive part-time babysitter for their 1-year-old child. This ongoing position starts on August 31, 2026, focusing on daily toddler care, feeding, nap schedules, and engaging play.

Schedule:

Tuesdays and Thursdays (exact times are flexible and will be discussed with the family)

16 hours per week

Family Specifications:

Smoke-free home

Small dog in the home (can be kept in a separate room during care)

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, safe, and gentle care for a 1-year-old child

Support daily care routines, including feeding, meal prep, diaper changing, and nap times

Lead age-appropriate play, reading, and interactive activities

Provide occasional transportation for the child using a personal vehicle as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience caring for infants and toddlers

Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for transportation

CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Comfortable working in a home with a pet

Compensation:

$20-$25 per hour (commensurate with experience)
