Part Time Caregiver/House Manager– Washington, D.C.

A family in Washington, D.C. 20016 is seeking a regular, long-term part-time caregiver to care for their 2 children, ages 10 and 5. The family is looking for a dependable and nurturing individual to assist with daily care, transportation, and support the busy household.

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM; and every other Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (optional)

Start Date: ASAP

Family Specifications:

Smoke-free home

Pet-free home

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, engaging care for the girls.

Handle daily needs including feeding and light food prep, engaging play, and household errands.

Light housekeeping related to the children's care throughout the day

Transport children to and from activities and appointments, and home from school as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience working with children preferred

Current CPR and First Aid certifications required

Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance required

Compensation:

$25–$35 per hour (Payment made via standard payroll (no cash payments, must be comfortable with on the books payment)
