Part Time Spa & Tea Bar Associate

We are looking for someone who:

Likes Part time weekend hours (approximately averages 25 hours per week)

Required availability to work:

Thursdays

Fridays

Every other Saturday/Sundays

Sana Vida means “Healthy Life” and our mission is to create a community of hope and healing. Sana Vida is a Wellness Studio that fuses ancient wellness practices, specializing in rejuvenation through stress and pain management by blending acupuncture, yoga, massage, healing tea and remedies.

We are looking for a Part Time Spa & Tea Bar Associate who is cool in a fast pace environment. We also have a beautiful tea bar and a thoughtful retail selection that supports our clients on their wellness journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Transition each client into our community of hope and healing--guide clients in their decisions about wellness

General

Greet clients upon arrival, answer phones, schedule appointments, answer questions, check out clients, sell retail, marketing, merchandising, purchasing, accepting shipments, inventory control, graphic design, social media, training, staff meetings and central communication with all Team Members

Tea Related

Educate clients on tea, take drink orders, make drinks, clean, stock teas and supplies, accept shipments, inventory control, money transactions and adhere to all regulations set forth by Health Department, and more . . .

Yoga Related

Greet clients arriving for class, answer questions, guide them to the proper location, explain payment options, sell packages, sell retail, explain yoga styles, register class sign-in sheet, collect payments, call those who owe for class, organize substitute instructors, and cleaning in studio, and more . . .

Acupuncture/Massage Related

Ensure clients are taken back on time, assist therapists, change linens in rooms if needed, keep therapy rooms stocked, answer client questions about services, sell retail, and sell packages, and assist with cleaning as needed, and more...

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic math skills, Google Docs/Spreadsheets

Use of smart phone and comfort with computers and the internet

Basic knowledge of yoga, acupuncture, massage, skincare and tea will be needed and learned for position

Comfortable conversing with strangers

Retail sales competence

Available to occasionally work evenings and weekends

CONDITIONS OF WORK - Can be long shifts, short shifts, or split shifts. Flexible shifts

REQUIREMENTS

Brisk walking, lifting 20 lbs and frequent bending

Keen eyesight

Live a tobacco-free lifestyle

Report to work free of any adverse effects of drugs or alcohol

EQUIPMENT OPERATED

Computer, Printer, Telephone, Stereo, iPod, iPad, Washer, Dryer, Blender, Microwave, Coffee Maker, and Hot Plate

COMPENSATION

Starting base rate can be up to $14/hr depending on experience.

Plus commission: varies from $10 - $40 based on membership or packages sold
