We are seeking Patient Care Technicians to become part of our team of dedicated professionals! As a member of our Magnet-designated Nursing team , you will provide support to the inpatient nursing staff while helping ensure the comfort and safety of our patients and their family members. Role Overview:
- Work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse and assist patients in a timely and efficient manner
- Handle patient care situations with a high level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism
- Responsible for taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and collecting specimens
- Collaborate with the clinical team and provide assistance with procedures as needed
- Use basic computer and data entry skills to support clinical documentation
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of healthcare-related experience in one or more of the following roles:
– Nursing Assistant (NA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT),
– Medical Technician, Phlebotomist, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Or
If less than 2 years of experience:
– A Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification obtained within the past 12 months , AND
– At least 1 year of healthcare-related experience in one of the roles listed above
- BLS certification required by time of hire
- Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information:
- Schedule: Evening shift flexed from 12:00pm to 12:30am Monday through Friday. Weekend rotation is required
- Location: 1275 York Avenue, Main Campus
- Reports To: Nurse Leader
